This was a really good story. Keep you in suspense, and I wanted to shake some sense into Jason on more than one occasion. Definitely recommend the book.
A good clean wholesome love story with well developed characters and realistic settings. Could use just a tad more romance and thoughts from the male lead, but overall a nice read.
This was a quick, easy read. I did keep wishing Jaxon would grow up, and I am not really positive that he ever did. Loved the various characters. It would be nice to read more about Race.
Jaxon and his two friends Tayson and Kip are the three stars on the TV show "The Cowboys" and they are forced unstructured with women all the time. One of the producers of the show Miley gives out f her way to keep Jaxon close to her and this was the cause in the marriage to break up. There is more things involved as,well as you will see. Do not miss this story.
This is my second book by Erica Penrod and I was generally well pleased. However, the numerous editing errors were a definite distraction. Spelling checkers only catch misspelled words, not missing or misused words. I recommend she replace her editors. This was otherwise a well written and thoughtfully constructed clean romance. I thought there was great character development. Towards the end I was getting a little concerned over the relationship between Race and Janie. Although Jaxon was the male protagonist, it looked like Race, who was an outstanding character with high standards, was either going to win Janie’s heart or have his heart broken instead. The way Ms. Penrod resolved the issue was masterfully done. Hopefully, Race will have his story told in a future book.
